Hacking Gateway Questions

So after finally despairing, I decided to buy a Gateway card, but before that, I have a few questions:
1: My dad upgraded the 3DS XL to 9.5 without telling me, will the Gateway card work or do I have to do a few things, if so, what are they?
2: I will order the card online, so can someone tell me the best website to do so from? Shipping and price wise.
3: As I have read, this card enables me to play downloaded 3DS AND NDS Roms/CIA/.3DS.3DZ and all that stuff, as well as play online right? I can like, play Pokemon X or Y online for example. Is that the case?
4: What are the things I have to do to get the card working?

No. it won't work for you. Sell your 3DS XL and buy another one. That's the only option if you want to gateway.

Don't order it until you solve #1.

your only option now is Sky3ds, gateway only works for FW up to 9.2...

This is not recommended as sky3ds is inferior to gateway is pretty much every way

It is recommended you sell your 3ds and buy a new one (you might be able to do a swap at a pawn shop or something)

yep the biggest part in it being inferior is that it gets every new update support perdy quick, and selling your old 3ds for cheap to later buy a new one and having to pay extra for it :} is way better coz everyone who buys an used 3ds doesn't care that its on 9.5=end of the line...

Working on newest firmware is all sky has going for it. But your going to get banned for going online since you cannot dump one of your own games for a private header

I'm not quite sure if you're being sarcastic or not. Mainly as I couldn't understand what you were trying to say.
So you're saying that an old 3ds is cheap to later buy? then something about selling? And then nobody cares that it's on 9.5?

Were you arguing the more expensive Sky3DS is a better investment financially for a product with less features?
Could you please rephrase? I think I'm missing something.
