Hacking Gateway Questions with a N3DS

I just bought a N3DS and I had a few questions.

What Micro SD size does it support? Does it support 32gb yet?
Can I transfer stuff from my old 3ds without updating my new one?
Any other things I should know before I do anything and potentially screw things up?

It supports up to 32GB by default, and 128GB if formatted properly (not all space may be able to be used).

You need to create and update an emunand and transfer to that.

You need to carefully read the guide(s) and follow them exactly. It is very easy to update your sysnand and become unable to use gateway.

The first step after getting gateway to launch is to backup sysnand, and then copy the backup to your computer.
