Hacking Gateway not Showing

So I got my Gateway today and went ahead and created emunand and updated it.

Now when I boot into Gateway mode the gateway doesn't show in the home menu, is as if I don't have it inserted. The card is detected since gateway launcher.dat boots gateway mode.

I formatted the sd card and copied a .3ds file to the root of the sd card but gateway doesn't show.

What I'm I doing wrong?

Now I just feel stupid. Thanks for the reply, I saw a couple of tutorials and they didn't say anything about pressing select.
