Is it possible to downgrade to 4.2 as EUR 3DS?

Nope, only to 4.5. First hand info.Is it possible to downgrade to 4.2 as EUR 3DS?
only a question, with cfw, it's possible to launch ALL backups, Open homebrews, and play online?
and is possible to install .CIA?
What's the point in going that? Why not 4.5? Just use gateway's downgrade file to not screw it up
You don't own a Gateway, do you? Gateway blue card works. The only package available right now for EUR consoles is 4.5, guess you could ask a friend to lend you a flashcard and install devmenu and that CIA file to make all blocked carts work againI need 4.1-4.3 for AK2i to work to install DevMenu

Anyway, don't come down. I just read the dg package has been decrypted, maybe someone finds a way to downgrade to an older versionAh, I see.
Thanks for the reply tho.
I think you can't play all roms. I read that some people were struggling with specific games to work (don't remember which tho).only a question, with cfw, it's possible to launch ALL backups, Open homebrews, and play online?

If I understand the steps:Okay, I know this thread is moving fast 'n furious so if this has already been covered, my apologies...
I restored my backed up 9.2 sysnand (by going back to gateway download option and holding UP when selecting),
then with my SD card removed, reformatted the 3ds back to a 'fresh' 9.2
then I set up my 3DS and linked my NNID again.
then performed the re-downgrade again from 9.2 to 4.2.
Reinstalled Gateway via BLUE card.
Boot back into Gateway mode and was able to access the eshop!
I think it will work.Does this mean If I install .CIAs to my emunand thenupgradeRestore EmuNAND to SysNAND, I will be able to run the CIA's from my sysnand?
I don't think so. A lot of people have successfully downgraded, and Gateway says that because this process has always been very risky in all consoles, you are touching your real NAND, if anything goes wrong, say goodbye to your console. If you have a hardware mod to inject your NAND backup, well, no matter what, because if you brick your console, you'll be able to make it work again. When GW say only to do this if you have a hard mod for the NAND. Would this mean they're will be a safer downgrade option in the future?

But remember, it seems to work perfectly as no one bricked their 3DS using the 3.0.1 Gateway Launcher, DO NOT USE 3.0 , AS SOMEONE SAID HE BRICKED ONE OF HIS CONSOLES
I have an EUR 3DS too, but I don't care about the update nag on the dw file, because after Downgrading I will format sysnand to make it disappear and then make a backup of that NAND in case I need it later (:Well their EUR DG file has the update nag, so I think until they fix that I won't be downgrading just yet.
NAG update hum? No nag update window after turning on my console. (4.5 eu after downgrade)Well their EUR DG file has the update nag, so I think until they fix that I won't be downgrading just yet.
I got rid of the update nag of the EUR downgrade simply putting it on sleep and waiting 10 seconds and reopen it.Well their EUR DG file has the update nag, so I think until they fix that I won't be downgrading just yet.
It makes me think about the possibility of that nag update being generated when people were in 4.5 and then updated with a cartridge or something and now the update is popping up again...NAG update hum? No nag update window after turning on my console. (4.5 eu after downgrade)
