no, not directly using current Gateway downgrader pack.

There are other methods to downgrade, which in fact involves fake upgrade of system file version using CDNUpdater or 3DNUS.
it's not recommended to downgrade SysNAND with that method as it install fake system files.

Alpha Sapphire is a Card2 game so it saves within itself. There shouldn't be any problems with your data.​

Not sure, but AS retail cart with the v1.2 update just corrupted on me running it on EmuNAND 9.4 Classic Mode.

Time to do some testing... thankfully I backed up my save with my Powersaves.

So, wasn't the original guide showing that the N3DS used a vulnerability in the Mii Plaza, vs the current one's internet browser? Sounds pretty good, knowing you cannot access the browser on the N3DS without updating the firmware. I think it was SonyUSA who said posted that earlier guide?

CFW working on my end after downgrading from 9.2. No gateway needed. Follow Devin's tutorial here, it works wonders for getting this set up http://gbatemp.net/threads/release-3ds-cfw-cia-installer.373461/page-19#post-5143388 EDIT: updated to 4.5 using Animal Crossing retail once I downgraded.

This is insane. Gateway team once again shows they are leading the scene, by a long way.

I see no reason for 5.0-9.2 users to remain on these firmwares. 4.5 is way more convenient!

I formatted sysNAND after creating and updating emuNAND and didn't even accept the online agreement, so no NNID linking at all in sysNAND while the eShop access worked perfectly fine on 9.4 emuNAND. After that I downgraded to 4.5 and the eShop was still working on emuNAND.

So I downgraded from 9.2 and formatted sysnand with my SD card out. So it should be unlinked now correct?

Also since the blue card exploit is installed I don't need to use it anymore right?

This is pretty nice, that was with the main 4.2 sysnand I don't have wifi even set up. So don't have to worry about an update. Only have wifi in emunand.

How is that an answer to the question? If I understood you right you did have emunand before the downgrade, so of course it would work then on 4.5 with 9.4 emunand.
But he asked what if you didn't have emunand before you downgraded?

That's weird, anyways if it's really the case before downgrading make a copy of your save file using saveddatafiler
