Hacking Gateway Downgrading

3.0 bricked the first unit.
3.0.1 succeeded on red [damaged test unit]

Its possible to install ds exploit through DSTWO?. I will get my GW in march, but I wanna downgrade now

For me yes it's possible , the blue card that come with my gateway was faulty so I've used a number of DS mode only cards for the exploit. Both R4i Gold and DSTWO work fine.

it will work, I downgraded the NES XL and it has only been out a few months

I can enter eShop just fine on 9.4 EmuNAND after downgrading from 9.2U to 4.2.0-9U. My NNID/Downloads/Money are in-tact, but I'm getting a system update nag. I could format, but I'd likely be risking losing my NNID. (unless it's possible to somehow recover that?)

They're very likely linked, if you're asking if I've connected with my NNID in the past before formatting emunand. I have a NAND backup for 9.2 before I downgraded too, and I'm also wondering if that could restore my NNID in the event formatting removes the NNID?

About a page or two ago, I confirmed my Zelda XL (9.2U) successfully downgrading to 4.2.0-9U

I did unlink my NNID before I downgraded and now when I'm in emunand and attempt to access e-shop, I get error 022-2634... so I might be hosed out of the eshop for awhile. Not a personal biggy for me but a warning for others...It appears you should keep your NNID linked between your sysnand and emunand before you attempt to downgrade.

I'm not sure how I can "fix" my situation. I'm hoping I can do a system transfer from my emunand 3DS XL to a new 'New' 3DS XL whenever they come out in the US in a few months.

so a 9.4 downgrade wont work huh? that sucks. (i have 2 3ds's one XL and one normal one) i was hoping that i could downgrade my XL too. but i guess my normal one with 9.4 emunand will have to keep me happy!
