Not sure if this has happened before with updates, but after I got the nag I flipped the switch back into off mode. After a reboot the wifi toggle is automatically back on.. In order to stop the nag I had to remove all connections from WiFi. Sleep mode does have the nag pop up BTW.
Am I the only one who (despite having a Gateway and a 4.5 3DS) actually bought some games and can play them on the N3DS while waiting?
I feel like a delinquent now.
Haha well, guess I could play MH3U on it, but man, is it ever ready for MH4.
I bought gateway because all nintendo products are terribly overpriced in my country - ~50USD per most games, some for ~60, some even for ~75. Except for shovelware. I study university and if it wasn't for humble bundles i wouldn't even have my steam games. I bought Animal Crossing and Fantasy Life DLC (I'm going to buy the game as well, it's worth the money).
Another reason was that Rune Factory 4 was US only. And i also want to develop homebrew.

This wait is unbearable... But, I'm really glad Gateway proved 9.2 was exploitable. Only reason I actually bought my n3ds. If it werent exploitable with homebrew and region break, I would've had to wait for U.S. release
Can't wait to be able to carry all my games around on one card, rather than carrying around 19 game carts, just in case I want to play one of them. Being able to download and play Japanese games is a nice bonues, too.

Yeah, for example people who have to stay at school till 7 PM. And sometimes on sundays as well.
I play my 3DS one the way to and from places when I'm out with the family, or if I'm over at a friends or something, I'll bring my 3DS.
Awesome, I think we've all but confirmed that disabling Spotpass does shit all to prevent the update nag now.
Sheeeit son~! Nintendo is such a bunch of sneaky buggers. Removing the hardware Wi-Fi switch from the N3DS...
But at least the updates aren't fully forced upon you so we can give them a little credit for that. 7pm-10pm classes, 1 hour long bus ride home. Usually I don't, but I bring it to and from class just in case I feel like playing...
Guess I'm a manchild then as I play my 3DS out in public all the time. At work during my lunch I'm in the employee room gaming on it.
All the units in stores are 7.1 or something like that, so this is one of the few 9.2 NES 3DS XL out there

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.+1 -

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme
