Hacking Gateway 3DS - First 3DS flash card?!

I don't like it, one card per rom, and don't have OS, like Akaio or Supercard.
So we cant watch videos or emulators with that.

Look in the first post at the very bottom. Some member of "The Hacking Scene" thinks it won't be limited to one rom per microSD card. Of course even if that is the case progress is progress.

Finally this materialized

it is indeed not a fake but all the hardware you want for this has yet to be shown

ideally what this card does is make the Game Chip a Micro SD card
the card will have to be formatted correctly and the right size (eg. you will need, 512mb,1GB,2GB,4GB cards)
each card can only hold 1 rom at a time, as it takes up the whole space of the card
surely you get the point here of whats its doing

the next thing is Save Data
as you can see in the video there is only 1 save chip and thats built in, so if you change the game MicroSD without backing up and Dumping the Save data with a Save tool BYE BYE save
as it is wiped as the game recognizes it as corrupt so deletes it
so they will either have to provide a method of extracting/dumping the save or you get a R4i Save Dongle or something that does the job

basically this is a 1:1 clone sort of deal so only 1 at a time, no homebrew, no mods, no save tweaks

Nintendo will most likely just block this with an update to check the game Chip ID and then fail to boot it

Wait a second, everyone's saying that Nintendo will block it using update, but if this is 1:1 cart and 3DS sees it as legit cart (so lets pretend when i say Getaway that i'm talking about any legit 3DS cart, because Getaway is 1:1) it would be like, when nintendo update their system all legit 3DS games will be blocked as well?? because this is 1:1 cart right?

a) checking wright speeds the wright speed of the sd card may not match to the woght speed of the real card and nintendo can see that
b) check the game Chip ID a sd card will not have the same id and nintendo can see that

nintendo has a database of what card has what wright speed so only gateway wud be blocked

I think Vita is great, superior..but i Love Nintendo if ever get Vita i don't think i would feel angry on 3DS... i mean why would i?

Why cant gamer's stand together, i mean, its companies (Nintendo, Google, Microsoft, Sony etc...) war, why should we care about that? gamer should be united, doesn't matter what they like. i mean, isn't that the thing, we all have different taste but we are all gamer's (i mean people who like games and enjoy them)...

I don't see how checking the card ID can help when 3ds games are supposed to be playable on any 3ds. Yea, Nintendo is gonna know something's up when 100,000 people's play-logs show the same cart ID, but how can they be sure not to lock put the 1 honest customer's game if there is no detectable difference amongst them?

As far as the speed check goes, I don't know, but Neimod did say something interesting on IRC today. He said that unlike the DS, 3ds I/O speeds are actually slower than microSD. If that is the case, and there is a way for the card to regulate I/O speed to the correct spec at all times, maybe there is no way for the 3ds to single out a flashcard with speed checks. (Pure speculation, btw)
