The SD card that came with my 3DS is 2 GB in size, I'm guessing that applies to all units. That's more than enough space for the EmuNAND and savegames.
Mine is 4GB, but I assume that's because I have a 3DS XL?
Also, yeah, I'm certain I have enough space for this. But some people might not if they take a lot of pictures or something like that...

FPGA TEST OK!
SPI TEST FAIL
SPI READ TEST FAIL
SD TEST FAIL

I don't know what SPI is but apparently the actel chip is fine so I don't know why the spi are failing..

For those wondering, the "Backup NAND" option creates a file on the root of the 3DS SD card called NAND.BIN (mine being 943MB ... but compresses to 390MB with RAR!)

From the news on thier site, regarding multi-rom and card 2 support

"As you can imagine, both these features required a major revamp of our hardware's internal firmware, something we had known and planned for from day one so rest assured, unlike others, GW3DS is a fully featured and FULLY updatable hardware design"

So the gateway is updatable. I wonder if the other cards are as well, gateway seems to be implying they are not. Interesting times ahead I think.

Well here all the tests fails but the stuff is still working, even if I sometimes have to reboot my 3DS when applying the flaw, I highly suspect their testing stuff not being accurate enough...

Also, is pokemon and animal crossing really not working ? I though the announcement on the Gateway website said it was but the gbatemp announcement says it doesnt...

Latest ROMs work except for the NAND saving ones, in this case those are Pokemon and Animal Crossing.

I am backing up my NAND and filming the process, so I'll be hands on with it. Pokemon and Animal Crossing aren't working and that was stated in the file included with the firmware update:

README_GW_2.0b1 said:
GW 2.0b1 enables up to date compatibility, barring only the 2 known NAND based titles (for which support is coming very soon), as well as the long awaited emuNAND feature.

The video will be coming REAL soon as I plan on editing and uploading as SOON as it's done filming!

strange...

everytime I try to access emuNand.. there doesn't seem to be any GW3D besides the version.. just the usual Ver. 4.5.X

I still cannot access emuNand

Reading this passage myself made me glad I waited, then again it could just be conjecture on their part.

Just tested Zelda, my emunand is working great once I'm in.

Booting into emunand, not so great. 4 boots, two fine, two crash (lines on screen). Oh well, I guess it's Beta for a reason. I can live with that.

Waiting with bated breath!
