Jon fucking dies
Is there any comic strip where Jon's dreams come true?

Liz is madly in love with Jon, Jon gets a huge syndication deal for his work, Jon suddenly realizes he could buy a condo instead of having a huge, expensive house for one person and multiple animals?

Jon is a tragic figure because he resets after every strip, making him a prisoner in his own universe.

I've become more aware of my own mortality, as well as the mortality of the living organisms around me. Knowing that Jon will mourn Garfield long after he has passed, to the point of not recycling his most used objects, fills me with a deep sadness.

It is a reminder that those around us could become memories in a flash. Our connections will become fewer, and our focus will shift from living life to accepting our own passing, which may reunite us with those we have lost. This comic strip merely reminds us to further cherish those around us. To use our time to its greatest extent. To give and to celebrate. Yet, I remain melancholy.

I'll just play A Week of Garfield on the Famicom. That always cheers me up.

If we are still able to read this post, then we have the ability to enrich our lives this very day. We can become more aware of those who love us and appreciate our company. We can exercise and eat right to elongate our existence. We can give to those in need and create a deeper connection with ourselves. We can eliminate bad habits and negative thinking. We can dedicate ourselves to our jobs and families. The time is now.

We can play Garfield: Caught in the Act on the Sega Genesis.
