Like how there is story mode practice etc etc

Yes, there is, but if you create room and use home button, your WiFi icon changes intro local wireless one (with "L" shape on the left) so it's not LAN mode.

- f you turn local connection or however game mode is called and you get changed WI-Fi icon with "L" shaped symbol -

- it means you have entered Local Wireless mode, not LAN mode.

Sadly, there is no LAN mode in Diablo 3

Enter "Tag climax" then highlight "local play" then press [Left Stick] + [L] + [R]
"Local Play" will be replaced with "LAN Play"

Bayonetta 2 apparently also has the lan mode added to the list,
To enter lan mode:

"Enter tag climax and highlight local play then hold left stick and press L+R"

Hey idk if this is actually lan or not, but rocket league's host/join local game is said to be lan, according to the devs. i dont know how to find out if it is lan or not though, since i only have one switch and no pc version of the game

Diablo 3 works with Atmosphere/ReiNX + ldn_mitm.kip + switch-lan-play

Go Vacation offers a wireless multiplayer function. How do I test to find out if it's LAN, or ad-hoc? I have 2 Switches, but only 1 game cart (both are hackable, one is 6.2.0, other is 3.0.0. HOS 3.0.0 has never been hacked). Also, I don't have a router, but I know someone who does.
