My opinion:

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker
Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
Mario & Luigi: Bowers Inside Story
Suikoden Tierkreis
Glory of Heracles
Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes
Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Sayians
Sands of Destruction

These should keep you occupied for a while!

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Again. It's basically Hotel Dusk but you play as FBI agents. Can't think of anything else right now, but I'll take a look through my flashcard later.

Infinite Space. Definitely.

I could never get into this game, but I heard it was phenomenal. I'll give it a look over once more one of these days.

I'd recommend:
Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey
Shin Megami Tenesi: Devil Survivor
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
The World Ends with You

I'll post some more when I get home and look at my card > _

It's so good, I already finished it once and clocked in 60+ hours, and I wanna do it all over again. It's that good.

gotta say disgaea the storyline was great it did not feel old or rehashed from anything I had played before and I was laughing the entire game. prinny commentary is the best. and this isn't really storyline but you gotta love level caps of 9999

Wait, Dragon Quest IX had a story?
I thought it was just a Senital(However you spell it) who became human, and you gather the fruits so you can become a Senital again. The game is super repetitive(all DQ series are: Go to Village do mission, defeat boss, get key item) and i lost interest in it after I could change jobs. Although i did like the side stories though but the main plot is bleh.

Ontopic: FFCC Rings of Fate was in my opinion was the best story and the moral was pretty good, you never really know how important something/someone is until you lose it/them so cherish the time you spend with it/them.
TWEWY has a good story also about friendship.
Prof. Layton games
Shin Megumi Tensai D.S. and L.J.
ToI
KH 358/2 has a good story but the game itself wasn't that amazing. Really repetitive.
