I've currently run out of games to play on the DS and lately I've only really been interested in ones that have great storylines.

List them.

Mine are:
Hotel Dusk: Room 215
Last Window: The Secret of Cape West
Professor Layton and the Unwound Future
The World Ends with You

Honourable Mentions:
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Justice for All
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations
Professor Layton and the Curious Village
Professor Layton and the Pandora's Box
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks

Personally I loved "Time Hollow", probably my favorite storyline ds game, after that you've got "Hotel Dusk", I think there was one more, hmm I believe it was "Lux Pain" also professor layton games and Phoenix wright games including all spinoffs (ace investigations etc.)

Ok the best storyline I've encountered are:
Chessmaster DS
Picross
Mario Kart
Tetris DS

You have got to play these for the storyline.

Golden Sun when it comes out!
also most Phoenix Wright games(+ Apollo & Edgeworth)
i never finished hotel dusk or Last Window because some parts scare the fuck out of me....

wtf? are you serious?

I forgot what the name of the game was, but it's along the lines of: Sands Of Destruction.

That was one of the most epic RPG games with a great storyline (no, it can't beat DQIX's storyline) I've ever played. I played that game nonstop and whenever I played the game, it felt like sitting on your cozy bed with the T.V. turned to your favorite shows for an hour straight.

The good times

Final fantasy 7(ps1) followed by
Final fantasy 7 crisis core(psp)
Then watch final fantasy:advent children(the movie, i know it's not a game)

By doing this in that order you will realize how great this story really is. best story for me so far.

The Phoenix Wright ones are the best. Yes. THE FIRST THREE. Apollo is ok and Edgeworth is a bit shallow. It isn't very deep.

Oh my bad, got carried away. I'd say:

The World Ends With You (of course)

Final Fantasy 4 DS

Suikoden Tierkreis DS (not awesome but it was pretty decent)

lol, come to think of it there's very few games with great stories on the DS, that's my list that i've played so on the DS. Played a lot of games on the DS but it was mostly for gameplay, very few attract you with story.

On the DS I've really liked the Castlevania games and of course FFIV.

Other systems:

Shadowman
Resident Evil 1
Secret of Mana
Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask
