If I missed a game you really want coverage on then simply send your write up to me (via PM). If it's good enough and follows proper formatting I'll add it here with credit to you! Check the "Other Releases" section at the bottom to see what games I would want write ups for but am not all too qualified to do myself. You can also do write-ups for games I didn't even list. Sometimes things slip my eye.
From now on, I'm going to include a template for submissions. Simply fill in the template below and PM me.

Some rules and stuff.
- This is mainly North American releases, sorry. I'll, on occasion, do a European or Japanese release if it's big enough and not already out in America.
- If a game is already released in English and is being released again for another region, I won't bother adding it. Like say if Half Life 2: Episode 3 was out in America in April (it won't) and it came out in May in Europe, I won't list it for May. I'll also do the same if a game was released in English (aka Europe or America) and is being released in Japan.
- I get my dates from GameFaqs, Wikipedia, and IGN, so if a date is wrong don't blame me. You can, of course, point it out and ask me to fix it if you have the right date.
Platform: 3DS
Developed by: Intelligent Systems
Published by: Nintendo
Release date: February 4th (North America)
Genre: SRPG
My Hype Level: Obligatory "I don't like strategy games"
GBAtemp Hype Level: OH MY GOD FIRE EMBLEM
If you've been living under a fucking rock then you should know I don't care for strategy games. However when I did care for them I played Fire Emblem and I liked it. Never cared much for the stories or anything but the gameplay was fun (challenging too) and it was like one of the first grid-based RPGs I played (I know there's a ton of earlier ones but just personally this is the first I played). So while this doesn't harden my nipples or anything I can still appreciate the franchise. So have fun, I won't rain on this parade.
Platform: Vita
Developed by: Team Ninja
Published by: Tecmo Koei
Release date: February 26th (North America)
Genre: Action
My Hype Level: Never played Ninja Gaiden
GBAtemp Hype Level: Eh
I guess one of my gaming non-achievements is having never played a Ninja Gaiden game. From the old 2D ones to the rebooted franchise, I never gave them a shot. Yet again my respect for Team Ninja is about as low as my respect for creepy porno directors so I can't say I'd really give them a fair chance. However, much like the launch title Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus, this is a port/revamp of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 for the Vita with some additional stuff like Vita specific controls and god knows what else. If you like the Ninja Gaidens then slap it in your v machine and have a grrrrrrrand old time.
Platform: Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC
Developed by: Visceral Games
Published by: Electronic Arts
Release date: February 5th (North America), February 7th (Australia), February 8th (Europe)
Genre: Horror
My Hype Level: I'm kinda dead on the series
GBAtemp Hype Level: Meh
I haven't really played much of Dead Space as a franchise so sorry if my impressions are a bit cold. Well I'm sure they have a frozen fanbase, this new game has been leaving a lot of their fans a bit spaced. I mean it goes from a kinda Alien style "in space no one can hear you scream" to like... Lost Planet? Seems like some real sheet to me. But impressions of this have been generally good, so it looks like the franchise won't be put on ice for now.
Platform: Playstation 3, Vita
Developed by: Sanzaru Games
Published by: Sony Computer Entertainment
Release date: February 5th (North America)
Genre: Stealth?
My Hype Level: Never played the franchise
GBAtemp Hype Level: Not a Sony crowd here
I'm still in that "Sony franchises catch up phase" seeing as I recently nabbed a PS3 so my knowledge on Sly Cooper is pretty barren. However the franchise has some fans, falling in the Jak and Daxter/Ratchet and Clank era of anthropomorphic creatures doing shit. This title is also the second crossbuy game (the first being Playstation All-Stars) so getting the PS3 game also nets you a copy of the Vita version digitally. Huzzah.
Platform: Playstation 3, Xbox 360
Developed by: Platinum Games
Published by: Konami
Release dates: February 19th (North America), February 22nd (Japan, Australia, Europe)
Genre: Action
My Hype Level: One of my games of the year
GBAtemp Hype Level: Not as excited
While I'm certainly no Raiden fanboy, this game does look ungodly awesome. It's a power trip in the biggest extent. You do crazy shit and it looks like a hell of a lot of fun. If it's as good as any of Platinum Games' other titles, then it should be one of the best games of the year.
Platform: Playstation 3, Xbox 360, PC
Developed by: Crytek Studios
Published by: Electronic Arts
Release dates: February 19th (North America), February 21st (Australia), February 22nd (Europe)
Genre: FPS
My Hype Level: Never played Crysis
GBAtemp Hype Level: Meh
Yeah this month is a bit of "Guild doesn't play a lot of games" type of thing but I have never played Crysis. Being that my foot is only in the door of the PC master race club house, I haven't really tried them and they seemed to be really PC centric. So as you can expect, my apathy towards this game stands clear.
Platform: Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC
Developed by: Gearbox Software
Published by: Sega
Release dates: February 12th (North America, Europe, Australia)
My Hype Level: Doesn't seem interesting
GBAtemp Hype Level: IT'S FOR THE WII U
People here have been semi-anticipating this game, mostly because Gearbox has been yammering on about the Wii U version, but it doesn't seem all that interesting. I don't have some deep attachment to the Alien IP so that doesn't appeal to me really and I haven't cared enough to look into it. Plus I'm not huge on FPS games (not that I don't like them but I rarely go out of my way for them) so this also gets an apathetic "Eh" from me.
Platform: Wii U
Developed by: Ubisoft Montpellier
Published by: Ubisoft
Release dates: February 26th (North America)
My Hype Level: I did love Rayman Origins...
GBAtemp Hype Level: IT'S FOR THE WII U
I'm sure you all know I'm a pretty big fan of Rayman Origins and have even heralded it as "the greatest platformer of this generation" and Rayman Legends is the sequel. Hower, I'm a bit weary of these "Wii U specific features" which I feel will just be shoved in your face and take away from the pure platformer goodness of Rayman. Also the 5th person multiplayer looks like the worst thing in years. You know what's fun about platformers? Not platforming and watching other people do it. Great idea.
Most of these are titles I really don't know much about so write-ups are much appreciated
- Fist of the North Star 2: Ken's Rage
- Omerta: City of Gangsters
