This usually happens, even with a Normal DS Lite, with either a flashcard or a retail game. Just test it yourself. Put a retail game in, load it up, tap on the game card itself, look at the game, all frozen.

Hoever, in yourcase it sounds really severe, try a couple of inserts with your Acekard, and if problems persist, contact nintendo

This happens if the gold pads on the cartridge doesn't make good contact when inside the DS. Does this happen with retail carts? If it only happens with the Acekard I'd contact the seller for a replacement. This has nothing to do with AKAIO because it's a hardware problem.
