GCN GameCube swiss question

I have modded gamecube with swiss and I want to update swiss?
Since I don't have laters version of swiss.
How do I update swiss?

Hello.:)

https://github.com/emukidid/swiss-gc

Usage
  1. Download latest Swiss release and extract its contents.
  2. Copy the compressed Swiss DOL file found in the DOL folder to the device/medium you are using to boot homebrew.
  3. Launch Swiss, browse your device and load a DOL or GCM!
Note: If the above steps do not work, try using the non-compressed Swiss DOL file.

Another Note: Specific devices will have specific locations/executable file variants that need to be used, please check the documentation with those devices on where Swiss will need to be placed.

Good Luck
Thank you.:)

I don't understand what meant with this" Copy the compressed Swiss DOL file found in the DOL folder to the device/medium you are using to boot homebrew"
What device/medium are we talking about?

When you use an SD Card or other Devices, you can use the normal .dol File.
The compressed .dol is used for BIOS Replacement/Mod Chips like the Viper GC if I remember correctly.:)

I have a SD card but not SD Launcher, so I need to Copy the compressed Swiss DOL file found in the DOL folder to the SD card?
You can use both but the compressed it only a "smaller" Version to Fit in an 1 MB Bios Chip.:)
So yes, please use the regular Version with ~ 3 MB.

Thank you.:)

I have a sd2sp2 chip. Can I do something with that?

You can use it for Game booting too.In the Meantime it works very good.
You can put the Games ona microSD Card (same Way as you do on SD Card).
Then boot up SWISS,navigate to the SD2SP2 and start your Game(s).:)

Thank you.:)
