i believe ftpii is also usable.
if you have dvdx installed, it can mount the dvd. using an ftp client on your computer, you can browse through the dvd and get the file

Can confirm you can do it this way. DVDx normal install will let me read backups in FTPii, DVDx PatchMii install lets me read my originals. I don't know the specifics on why, but that's how it works for me.

and my Wii-Fit didn't have MIOS8, I believe newer versions might though. Wii Music definitely has MIOS8

Since the original GC Memory Cards dont work - can somebody name some which should work with the GC Launcher?

Thanks

Mine works and they are original.

I am using a Mad Catz 16x Memory Cube 1019; no problem. My saves have come from NTSC games (Luigi's Mansion, Mario Kart Double Dash, Super Mario Sunshine).

Anyone having problems playing Wii backups after installing mIOS patcher and using GC Backup Launcher?

I tried to reinstall cIOS and it got it back to making Wii backups work (I was using Medal of Honor Heroes 2), but I'm somewhat concerned....I guess if I want to use GC backups, I have to rerun MIOS before I use it.

Oh mon dieu...!!! I just saw the compatibility list, and for the first release it is sooooooo good, it's more than half the working ones right now, but I'm not soo exited cause I still don't have any backup, I'll try to get one or two just to check....!!!

If I dont want the MULTI-GAMES DVD-R.. I will not have to install the MIOS that came with the loader ? Or I still have to install the MIOS because if you want to run backup GC games then it is a must ?

Probably.

I have question.
Im currently using the GameCube MultiGame ISO Creator v3.2.4F to make multigame isos. But what i want to know is, what happens when i boot up the disc? Will a screen come up asking which game i want to play? or does it just start the first game?

the muli iso loader works realy well when the launcher screen comes up use the d pad to select the game u want to load
