Do gamecube games look better on the WiiU(HDMI), as opposed to Gamecube/wii through RGB?

IMO, yes, GC looks better on WiiU via HDMI than either via Wii using component RGB (or RGB SCART), and GC using RGB SCART... but not better than a GC using component or a GC capable of outputting HDMI.

To my eye they look about the same. However you can play them on the Wii U pad and given the small size it makes them look nice.

Edit: Should add, my eyes aren't great these days.

I think my Wii using RGB SCART looks a bit better due to the colours if nothing else.. however, the gamepad is natively 480p and GC games look nice on it.

Thanks for all the answers, I have an RGB Cable now for my Wii, Now I just need to get an OSSC, 200€ is no joke.

On a side note, it's a shame Nintendo didn't use the additional hardware power to improve the games, at least official VC Wii ones should have received upgrades like Xbox One X enchanced games.
