Hacking Gamecube backup loader NTSC-J help

So with a backup of Dream Mix TV: World Fighters, I was under the impression that Wii Gator's Gamecube Backup loader would have no problem playing it. Apparently not. I load the game i see a loading screen and then they ask a question i choose an answer which gets me to the next screen. Within two seconds that screen will freeze. I've tried this a few times now. Same result. I've looked for an answer to this question for a while and it would be great if somebody could tell me what I should have to fix this(or if it can even be done).
If it matters; 4.1U wii system I think everything is updated to pretty darn new. And keep in mind i'm awfully n00bish.

Do you have a cMIOS installed? I believe you need that to play gamecube.
Download cMIOS rev3 and install with hbc

edit: if i remember correctly, the backup launcher comes with the folder "miospatcher"..try installing if you don't want to download the other

I believe I do... I'll check on that. But I have played a bunch of other things on the gator it's just this is my first attempt at a region other than US.

Ok well i installed it and still the same thing. It's Just after i press anything during this main screen I get a big BUZZZZZ sound and it freezes.

Okay there is only one more thing I can think of.
I'm assuming you have preloader installed with the general hacks.ini that everyone uses.
Hold reset while booting wii and once preloader comes up, go down to hacks.
Make sure "Region free GC Games" is checked and probably "force disc region"
If that doesn't work, idk then, wait for someone else to come
