Hey, I'm just wondering if anyone knows how to make a Game Genie code permanent. I want to apply the music code to a copy of Tetris DX and put it on my GB flash card as I don't have a physical Game Genie. Anyone have any idea how to translate a Game Genie code into an actual ROM modification?

Thanks!

I've seen some postings elsewhere on how to do it with NES and Genesis ROMs, I assume it can be done with a Gameboy ROM as well, but perhaps not. Anyone else?

Another one is "Game Boy Game Genie Rom Patcher" by Brian Provinciano, the guy who was at one point making GTA3 for the NES. The original website can be viewed at http://web.archive.org/web/20070923010821/http://www.bripro.com/games/gamegeniegbrp.php but the download link doesn't work anymore, so here's a mirror: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/59972490/GBAandDS/gggbrp.zip
How funny. I just extracted the "Rom City Rampage" NES ROM from his remake of his remake of GTA3 "Retro City Rampage." Small world after all.
