Hey guys, so yesterday i found my old gameboy advanced sp and i turned it on and there was a problem that when i pressed the A and B region it would go down so somehow taking off and putting the battery back on solved that but then came another problem. Sometimes it takes 5 minutes, sometimes 30 seconds but when I'm playing the screen first goes a bit dark and then the pixels start to drag until it doesn't show anything. 1st image shows normal screen, 2nd shows it a bit darker and 3rd completely dragged. The sound works fine while this error occurs. Do you know why this is happening and if so how to solve it. Thanks!

How do people so often get the name wrong? It's written right on the screen bezel.

Anyway i am guessing that is where the screen connector is, possibly the cable is damaged or has become slightly unseated, but you would have to take it apart to know.

There are screw extractor bits to be used with drills, that drill into the head and simultaneously unscrew the screw, but I don't know if they make them for screws that small. You can drill out the head of the screw to get the case apart, and there should be enough left sticking out to grip with tweezers and unscrew the left over bit if you're careful not to drill further than necessary, all without damaging the case, then you can replace the screws with new ones of the same size.

I managed to open it, is the black spot in the screen thing a problem?

Looks like permanent marker. Pretty common to find markings like that in some electronics, probably put there at the factory.
If you can get it put back together enough to power it on without closing it back up you can try pressing on/moving the cable gently to see if that causes the issue. But first of all you should inspect the cable closely to see if there is visible damage (tears or scrapes) or if the pins are corroded/dirty.
