ROM Hack Game that uses a lot the DPad

I'm looking for an DS game where the Dpad is called for.

I already have Mario Kart so I want another game you could have in mind.

Most games after about Mario Kart or so?
People tried to crowbar the touchscreen into games that did not really benefit but ultimately gave up and used it for menus, maps and high score name entry.

Equally a few of the games that were heavily touch screen based (the zeldas, starfox and possibly another) despite not traditionally being as such got hacks to turn them into wholesome dpad using games.
