PS1/2 Game swap trick and Free McBoot

So I have a Official Playstatio Magazine UK demo (64) which I'm trying to get working with this trick.

So Burnout Revenge is a playable demo and I swapped the B4.ELF with the modified one and burnt it. Right so far?

Then I go to the demo bit of the disc and do I a) Swap after selection when screen goes black
b) Just after selection before screen goes black
c) Somewhere else

I have tried a and b which have both yielded unsuccessful results. Any help would be apprectiated. I also have SSX on tour which is an EA game and am 99% it has online and will find it if need be... other than that, FFXII, Persona 3 FES, SMT: Nocturne and DDS1+2 if I can use them.

Oh yeah, it's a slim model.

I would suggest getting Agent Under Fire and following the FreeMCboot tut.

Also, what is your slim model number?

Is Agent Under Fire pretty much guaranteed to work? Can pick it up for about £2.

I set myself up with FreeMCBoot using a demo disc. The timing for swapping is just before you chose the game you replaced. So set up that all you need to do is hit "X" to start the Burnout Revenge demo, then swap discs and hit "X". If you've set the disc up correctly that should do the trick.
