Gaming Game Suggestions

I've been looking to play some games recently and they haven't really interested me =/ I'm looking for a action base game with a good storyline, using the touch screen/d-pad continuously in battles/fights Not just selecting your attacks coz it really bores me and so simple. I've tried Devils Survivor and Suikoden Tierkreis these games didn't enlighten me. I'm looking for a game more similar to Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword.
Any suggestions guys?

Family fued is a game show, but im not so sure if its trivia
theres also my fun facts couch, but it's no gameshow.

Add Info: Looking for more games like Fighting Fantasy for the DS, anything else that's similair or like Might and Magic where you got a whole party.

Add Info: Games where you play as a mage, and use alot of spells etc. Not talking about picking the Black Mage class in the FF games, so give me something else please.

But then i realized that i forgot to add Locks Quest to the exceptions list:

If you don't mind homebrew you could try Warcraft Tower Defense.

yeah, i have noticed that, it is very annoying considering it is a genre that really suits the touch screen. The same goes for real time strategy.

If you're ok with RTS you could also try Final Fantasy XII - Revenant Wings, really good RPG/RTS hybrid game!

i am really more of a casual gamer. The closest i have come to so called 'real gaming' on the DS is the world ends with you

I only brought up RTS because it is similar to tower defense for the DS in that there aren't many titles

Actually many would consider TWEWY a very hardcore game! But tell me more about the kinds of game you like to play, and I will try to help find something.

i love magnetica, the new zelda, little red ridding hoods zombie barbeque, big bang mini, ninja town, lego battles, warioware, phoenix wright, elite beat agents, mario vs donkey kong, neves, geometry wars, pic pic, pipe mania, PEGGLE (one of my faves!), Picross and 3D Picross, Go! Go! Cosmo Cops!, Carcassonne, Professor layton, rhythm heaven, GTA, Polarium, Luxor, Lego rock band, Advance Wars, N+ (another of my faves), Chibi robo, Kirby, LINE RIDER (another of my faves), Mario Kart (of course) and i didn't like NSMB because you couldn't save whenever you wanted the first time through so i have never beaten it

Is that list long enough

Quite long enough thank you very much! From what I can tell you have some of the best games out there in your list, the only thing I can think of at the moment that you might like is Disgaea DS. However I have to go to bed now, so I'll get back to you tomorrow if I get the chance.

okay thanks, i had to go too and i just got back on, i would love to see what else you could recommend. Many people have recommended disgaea to me. i think i will try it
