Gaming Game patches on sd card or system memory?

Where are you all putting yours, i figured the system since thats where they went prior to me having an SD card and using cartridges

Also is there a way to delete certain DLC or patches without uninstalling the entire game

For cartridge games I install the updates & DLC to system storage. That way if something happens to my SD card I can still play my cart games without getting bugged about missing updates / DLC. For eShop games I install everything to the SD.

You can delete specific updates/dlc with the devmenu.
