Someone mentioned that the hardest boss in a Zelda game was Thunderbird, the boss of the last temple of Adventure of Link. I disagree, the Dark Link AFTER Thunderbird was way harder, I could only beat AoL exploiting Dark Link. Shame on me.
I think the "hard" part was to actually find your way to thunderbird... That last temple was a *bitch* !
I had to exploit that too. Saw a video on YouTube after some trials, ended getting all lives just before the last temple and exploring it a little, after some deaths I reloaded the save, got all extra lives again and followed strictly the youtube video path. It was really a shame, but the temple + the lack of a map screen was extremely annoying.
Btw, the Thunderbird "2" boss, in Link's Awakening, was pretty hard too. I kept falling down from that damn platform.
edit: besides the last temple, all others in The Adventure of Link was pretty easy to walk through. They got bigger, but you could always clear the beginning and then go on exploring fork by fork. The fairy spell exploited the fun at the end (altough I never used it to bypass locked gates), but the Great Palace (last temple) was a bitch.

why do people hate game informer? the review seems fair to Zelda fans(including myself). i just dont get it. explanation anyone?

They tend to be (or at least, appear) biased when it comes to Wii games. For Example, when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (a game previously given 10/10 on other systems) was released on Wii, they gave it a 6.5 or so (Note that the game was just the same as the original with only difference being graphics, which shouldn't warrant a 3.5 point deduction). Occasionally, Wii games will get fair reviews, but generally only if it is over-hyped or a flat-out big release.
Ai? Controls? Framerate? Online performance and matchmaking? the graphics do massively affect the gameplay with an online precision series like this. I have played cod on multiple formats, and believe me, the lower wii scores are fair.
I have the game. I play it often. The only negative is the 60 fps to 30-40 fps, but it doesn't effect accuracy or precision at all. Online performs well the vast majority of the time as well. Matchmaking is the same. At the absolute minimum, it should have gotten 8-9.
EDIT: Also, ai is the same and controls are different, but not bad in any manner.

Also, I just realized that since I was seven, I've been calling all Zelda dungeons "temples". ...Is that what they are, or are they just dungeons? I mean, would I say, "Oh, that great temple, Temple of Time"? Because that seems a little redundant.
