Others Game Gear Weird Screen Error.

So I recently got a Game Gear and the screen seems to be busted. I'm not sure what's wrong with it but I'll post a picture. Also a lot of sounds occur when I shake it, like something is loose.

Not so many around here do gamegear restoration like we might for other things. There is quite a bit out there on the internet though.

That looks like a connector issue for the screen (not sure what this uses offhand) so might want to look into that.

Game gears also have some capacitor issues if you are inside it, some of which do speak to sound though that could also be something else.

If it’s an issue with soldered flat flex and the motherboard, I’ve seen this fixed in the past on a game boy by running a soldering iron across the ‘connector’/solder joints. Obviously I don’t know if this is your problem nor have I tried this type of fix myself.
