the fake game was 800KB wasn't it? Something like that? Seems like (most) people would know you're not going to get a full Vita game in 800kb....i mean, even simple indie games take up at least a FEW MB minimum

Most of us know bettter , I always look at file sizes before downloading something but it easly could fooled someone new to the scene or some young kids which was prob the target audience seeing as it was a lego harry potter game.......well anyway hopefully he learned his lesson and focuses his time on more productive creations to the vita communityMy thoughts exactly...
I know.
I'm not gonna say there is our isn't more than one source, but Team Freek is the only source that has provided something that can be actually considered proof.
Not ripping on the guys that did the Odin Sphere or Xandu leaks and I'm not definitively discrediting them, but I have not seen any actual semblance of proof from them yet. No one seems to be able to definitively say (even with this) that it's legit but it absolutely seems it with Wololo backing it.
But Major_Tom's method doesn't decrypt and rebuild eboots to work immediately on any Vita...This is basically just Major_Tom's method, simplified, made mainstream, and taken to another level of ease.
That's why I said basically. The process still goes exactly the same way, just with the added bonus of having a proper decrypted eboot. We've had decrypted data files of games floating around for awhile, but the eboot never was.But Major_Tom's method doesn't decrypt and rebuild eboots to work immediately on any Vita...
Well, I don't think it 'exactly decrypted' the eboot.bin.
Someone claiming to be from Team FreeK just uploaded a decrypted version of Binding of Isaac on /hbg/. Confirmed working.
Well I'll dipped in dog shit some on that thread explained how to bypass the ebbot encryption.

"Edit the app.db entry, and where the path for the game's eboot is, put * after eboot.bin".
Yeah, that was proven to be fake...Anonymous08/27/16(Sat)11:11:31No.153059541
