Hmm..ok i think i'm able save my ds games ONLY by restting G6 to its menu. Shutting down the ds and on again will not save anything.

So is resetting to the menu the only way(By pressing a combination of buttons)? Is there a way for us just to off the ds and on again next time?

According to TheSpade:

"Q: When and how does the G6 Lite need to be recharged?
A: If you notice that your G6 is not keeping the saves stored while your DS is powered off, then it's time to charge. Simply place your G6 Lite onto the UBurner and then into an available USB port. Charging time is not fully known at this time, but several claims put it at under two hours for a full charge."

Does that mean that the battery is rechargeable?
Can the batt be purchase in any of our local stores?
Can it be charged when we chrage our ds with the card in the slot?
Once charge, how long will they last

unless you actually leave your ds off for hours afterwards and restarting to test this, then yes I'd say give this a go....but from the sound of your post that's not the case.

The battery can be replaced, though unless you or someone you know can solder (some computer repair shops can do this for a fee), I wouldn't recommend trying it yourself. I do not know the model of the battery myself, but it should be possible to order it. You must ask yourself: Is it worth the headache of hunting down and ordering the battery and possibly paying to have the battery swapped or is replacing the simplest route?

Contacted G6 and they're kind enough to say that they will send me a replacement batt by next week.

However i kept asking them how can i safelly remove the old batt but they refuse to say LOL. BTW ppl, is the batt the one with yellow border?
I think it is glued so wonder how can i remove it. Abyone tried that yourself? Guess i'm the first

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze

    Booo.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's dumb
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Maybe.
  • Veho @ Veho:
There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Usually accidentally overdose of ibuprofen here is from people taking like cold medicine then ibuprofen for a headache and the combination is over what they need
