Shell out $87 (plus shipping) for a G6 lite then. You've ruled out all of the other options.

BTW, to call the G6's GBA menu "fancy" is to take a shit all over that word. It works, but it's neither pretty nor elegant.

at this point that will be what i will be doing, it's cheaper for me because the price in pounds is much smaller. yes i know the G6 lite has other faults and i can live with them, the G6 lite is the only decent flash cart that appeals to me atm it has everything i want.

QUOTEWhat?! They're microSD based! You're thinking of the EZ expansion pack. EZ4 CAN NOT be used as the ram pack as of now.

I advise you to buy the EZ4 MINI SD BASED, it's cheap and great to use in GBA, period. If you don't wanna listen, I rest my case.

i may have a look at the EZ flash 4 mini again but with all those points i mentioned it has put me off and i don't see how buying a flash cart with a client that is unable to boot on my computer is worth it, do you?

Um, you do know how to use windows, do you not? You extract the file, double click it with your left mouse button, then "whoa" IT WORKS!

erm... yeah i do know how to run a exe program you know ¬_¬

this is what happened when i opened the program:
http://ezflash.sosuke.com/about3914.html&highlight=crash

and the thing was i didn't modify anything i just downloaded the files and extracted them to my desktop to see what the program was like and the error message kept on coming up, can you tell me what "add save patch" and "reset" does in the client?

I personally use an M3 Perfect MiniSD.
I havent had any problems with it or the Game Manger yet.
Constant updates means almost 100% game compatibility.
Not to mention, you can use it with your R4 and the Opera Browser.

It is fairly expensive, but I think well worth it.
The menu is not fancy, but you can customize it with skins.
Plus it works on Windows PCs.

The "add save patch" is essential, it patches the savetype, so the flashcard is able to actually save the game. "Reset" is soft reset, obviously.

Bamboogaming.com has the G6 Lite english for $74.45 USD. It comes with five colored cases.

that's the cheapest i can find the G6 lite $87 can anyone find it for more cheaper than that? without the website taking paypal as payment please

ok, i'm just curious as to why a modern day flash cart would need save patching and yet my very old gba flash cart doesn't need any save patching at all? just a thought.
