The price would depend on what they think the price for a microSD is. The 16Gb would = the price of an M3DSS + 2 gig micro. 1 gig micro for the 8 Gb version. If they use retail prices, I can't see this being cheap

Yes, very er, unsurprising gui.

With only four icons on the screen at once, browsing through a large directory seems like it could be cumbersome. Is there any option to list files without there icon or something simialr so you can view many files at once?

Looks kinda nice, but is the top screen not gonna get used for other things then displaying Touchpod tm for GD DS?

I'm interested in this aswell. It would seem such a waste to have the top screen dedicated to that. Why not have the game icon displayed on the top screen (like some other carts i believe).

And if you trim your roms with a trimming program, will they still work fine on G6 real?

Finally, Is it skinnable? If so, to what degree?

Lets take a look here, a G6 Lite 512MB (4G) is over 70 bucks, and this with the GBA slot. A tinier, smaller, NDS slot would require better parts, etc.

Anyone who thinks this will be cheaper then the original G6 Lite is in for a reality check.

Expect 99$ on launch for 2GB.

It doesn't, Yoshi Touch&Go, Nanostray, Snowboard Kids, Big Brain Academy, Winning Eleven and I also believe Diddy Kong Racing? won't work with Download Play for DS-X.

Ah, I wasn't sure if it did so I asked (I was just going off people saying the DS-X was better than everything else because it supported download play - obviously they were spinning it).

I definitely agree the DS-X is too expensive though - if the G6 does the same as the dsx, but at a fraction of the cost then there will be little point to the dsx anymore.

Well, it is better then the rest in download play, cause it does work with games like Worms, Mario Kart DS, New Super Mario Bros, etc. but it's not perfect no.
i dont see the big deal people made when they found out slot 1spatch on the fly. If you dont need to do anything whats the problemÂ

Also does someone have a link for that software that showed which slot 1s patch on the fly i cant find it.

True, but it does mather someway, cause the patching on the fly seems to be the thing that breaks the Download Play, unless you fix it again, which G6 DS Real looks like to be doing, and I think it consumes more battery power as well if you patch.

Stop spreading rumors.
Also, i had no idea that slot one cards 'patched on the fly'. Seriously, can some one please explain to me why slot 2 carts must have patched roms and slot 1 cards dont?

1GB MicroSD cards are about 10-20 bucks, not 40.

Looks good, now we just need a confirmed release date V_V.

Oh, and the option pack shown on the menu is almost certainly the slot-2 addon to play GBA games.
the ultraII is $40. that's what he was talking about.

We all just have to wait for it to come out, there is no need to bash on something that has not been released. When it comes out we'll see if it lives up to it's hype or fall short. I have high expectations for this product and I hope that it delivers.

ahtin you have a copy of this G6DS Real right? So game compatibility is 100% and so is download play? Have you tested it personally?

Yes, I am one of the lucky member for pre-sale testing, Game Compatiable is 100% tested at clean rom mode, this is the result of 8 non-official teseters includeing me.

I have teseted download play of Mario Kart only (both non-flashed NDSL), and its work. I will test much more game later but its difficult that my NDSL is flashed, have to borrow a non-flashed NDSL to test.
