Homebrew Frodo DS help

I'm running Frodo DS on a flash card. The emulator itself runs fine. But why won't the games load? I hit select, load the disk image....and nothing happens. What am I missing?

what happens when you load the image?

Nothing. I can see on the select screen where it's basically loaded, but the game won't start running. How do I get it to start running?

does it start flashing colors in the screen?

You have to type

LOAD"*",8,1

and hit enter.

after the game loads you might also have to type

RUN

and hit enter.

You're best option is to learn to use a commodore 64. Old computers were a lot different from modern consoles. The operating systems of these machines was very complicated compared to today's machines, they mostly didn't do point-n-click, you have to type in commends to make it do things.

OK Thanks. I used one as a kid but it's such a long time ago that it's buried deep in my brain LOL.

I did remember where I was playing before now. Breadbox, on my launcher. Never did find a CIA for it but at least one of 'em works.
