All in mid for FoF.

I tried booting FretFury in DSOrganize but it just comes up with a white screen on top and a black screen on the bottom.

Strange. Worked for me.

It took a while for it to load though.

ok just wanted to say this now. the reason im going to use txts is because there is no way to use charts on the ds as far as i know) eventually im sure someone will release a chart to txt converter but that wont be until i at least release a version that uses txts. secondly ive already looked through guitarfun and i found nothing nothing that i could even remotly use for ds homebrew. V1.1 is almost done so expect a release later today.

Penguin has already given us several guitar skins, so I assume some sort of customization will be possible.

It'll prolly require the source code. And then just replace the graphics and convert them. But it's up to wazmo to release the source if he wants too.(don't)

Some homebrews are customizable without releasing the source.

Yeah. You could just have the game look for certain files in certain folders on the card. As long as they are the right size and format, the game could load them as a certain sprite. It shouldn't be any more difficult than having the game look on the card for songs to load.

I still can't get FretFury to work on my DS. I don't know how to run it in FlashcartOS, I can't get it (or anything else) to run in DSOrganize, and it won't run in Itouch, M3 Real, or Sakura.

Wait, is there a DLDI for the M3 Real? If so, you should just be able to patch it to get it to run in the original M3 Real firmware. I know that it has an auto DLDI patcher, but it always freezes up on me.

EDIT: Nevermind. I got it working.

I just deleted DSO of my card, and put it back on. I can finally play FretFury without using my brother's DS! YAY!

Its gonna be free. And you would just put the files where ever it needs to be.

I'm working on the staff usebar. For me it's harder than the scrolling words. It's a GIF too, hope it doesn't come out too big file. If so are there anyways to compress it while losing minimal quality?

EDIT: lol, penguindefender, it looks like your sprites just resize XD I spent 30 minutes on this:

To realize they just resize. xD I wasted my time, I need to make a new one. xD

Alex, the bar is really neat. You should make notes fly down at the bar, and when they hit, the flame could pop up.
