EDIT: Yes, using my head it took like 30 second and I thought of how to get the multiple news thing. It just requires some more code.

If anyone has any suggestions for the site, I'll be glad to see what I can do!

It hasn't been working on my SCDS even with the triple loader or DSOrganize. But it's a good cart though.

Can you PM me the source code before you go?
That way I can work on it, report to the forums what I do, and you could edit source on your laptop and have me compile.
I'm going away a week from Friday(or around then) but I can get a little done.

@everyone talking about charts and text files:
I don't think there would be a .mid to .txt converter, mainly because: (1) most custom songs on the net are .chart, (2) I'm thinking that midi files are little more confusing to deal with...
I'll try and make a chart2text converter but it's definitely NOT in development yet because I don't know what wazmo wants to do with the loading of songs.

As soon as that is figured out I'll hack up a crappy version of the chart2text converter that doesn't use BPMs. See if it loads, whatever.
The text file probably will keep most of the .chart stuff, I didn't know that it said the milliseconds of the note in the song, it might be useful, but then in turn it would make the file a LOT bigger, so I don't know.

Remember: almost everyone uses 2GB of mem. on their cards, so 14kB per song is a lot if you want like 50 or so custom songs

Anyway:

wazmo just PMed me and said he is giving me the source code while he is away to see if I can figure out a way to allow the adding of custom songs before homebrew bounty ends. As of now I have a very very basic plain idea and a pseudo-function that will hypothetically load the entire song without moving the notes. I haven't tried it yet because I don't have the source code yet. Once that works, hopefully I can figure out a way to make the notes move. And figure out a way to get the notes to move at different speeds due to the BPM.

Can someone make a chart for a song with a constant BPM, and keep it relatively easy (but use chords, and all 4 buttons), I'm sure someone can find a nice slow song or something. I don't think I'm going to support held notes for now, so please make your charts without held notes. Finally, in addition to a nice easy example song, please make fun charts of songs (I want to get at least 5 by next week if possible). DONT USE ORANGE.

I'm going to make a post on scorehero as well, to see if anyone there can make some charts.
I want as many charts as possible! Submit them to Alex (if that's OK) (unless the website has an upload function?). Alex can you do this for me? And maybe put something on the website that says "Everyone make some charts"

I don't know what language you are using to code the website (or have knowledge of any web-based language), but would it be possible to add an "upload your charts by clicking here" button.
And did you update the site for v1.1? Can you if you didn't? I just told everyone at scorehero about this, so I want them to have the know about the new version without reading every post
