Hi Guys

I'm trying to do a completely fresh install of Atmosphere 0.91 with a EmuNand on a hidden partition, so I don't touch the SysNand

I'm running OFW 6.0 clean no CFW or anything ever installed on the sysNAND
I have a completely clean Nand dump of this with Boot 0/1 files
I have merged these with the command copy /b BOOT0+BOOT1+rawnand.bin emummc.bin
And copied this to a hidden fat32 partition on my SD card with the DD command "dd if=emummc.bin bs=512M of=\\?\Device\HarddiskVolume9 --progress" and this has completed with no issues

So all good so far but the next few steps in the guide on GBAtemp are confusing me:

Once the last partition has your EmuMMC, start setting up AMS and Hekate, download Atmosphere CFW and Hekate.
Copy AMS + Hekate onto your SD
Download the EmuMMC config and create a folder named "emummc" then paste it there.

This is where I'm a little unsure, I have downloaded Atmosphere 0.91 from github and opened this in winrar

So here's my questions:

1) I take it I extract the 3 folders Atmosphere/Sept/Switch and the single file hbmenu.nro from the Atmosphere 0.91 zip and copy these to the root of the SD card that is visible within Windows 10

2) Which version of Hekate do I need any chance of a link to the exact file ? and again do I just dump all the folders into the root ?

3) Where do I download EmuMMC tool from as i'm getting confused with which version ? the guide just gives me a link to the emummc.ini only

Many thanks

1. Is correct.
2. Why hekate?
3. The emummc.ini should be enough. Here are more details for emunand.

Thanks BaamAlex

1) Great thanks do I also need to download the separate file fusee-primary.bin which is on the Github website ?

2) The GBA guide recommended Hekate do i use the above fusee-primary.bin instead then ? and does this go in the root of the SD card ? Are there any advantages of using Hekate ?

3) Brillaint thanks

Anyone ? thanks :)

If you want to set up emummc you need to flash the emummc file to your second partition on your SD card.. You're going to need the fusee-primary file to boot into your emummc. You can either directly push that to your switch or chainload that through hekate but you won't be able to boot into your emummc without pushing the fusee-primary file for now.

If you want some more help with the set up of it there is a guide by such meme many skill

I have a question to bring up the threat and find my answer.
What does one mean by clean sysnand? A backup of boot1/2 and rawgpp before any modification? Or a formatted newly initialized copy of clean backup?
Can someone elaborate on that?

Clean nand is a backup you've made before you have run any homebrew or nsp's on your system

Thanks guys I'm all up and running on my Emunand on my hidden partition, totally rock solid no crashes whatsoever so far, so it plays friendly with a Sandisk Ultra A1 128GB SD card :)

1) But a quick question now I am running on the EmuNand does the builtin SysNand store absolutely anything I do ? Can I molest this Emunand without a care in the world, install absolutely everything and everything and nothing I do will affect the SysNand ?...

2) Also what about if I go into the Switch Settings /Formatting and select Restore Factory Settings...will that just wipe the Emunand back to defaults again it won't touch the SysNand ?

Thanks again :)

1) Emummc is separate from Sysnand. Just don't get yourself banned because that will get you regardless from being on your emummc.

2) It will wipe your emummc

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
