There's literally no point to putting any amount of effort into a ROM site. They are always changing hosts, being taken down, and just a mess to handle, plus very few are there for the community anyways.

As for the thread itself, CIA is the only method you have left. Like others have said, Nintendo locked us out and unless another method is found, we are out for good. Personally, I suggest getting yourself a decent 128GB microSD and being more conservative with just how many games/applications you put in it.

Also spoofing the eShop like that would be considered an act of fraud, so no.

In short terms, no, they are not the same. Piracy is actually debatable when it comes down to it, what you are suggesting is actually fraud and it's actually theft as well. There's a lot different between the two when it comes to the law.

Then what you see is wrong. Freeshop has no interaction with the payment gateway and instead used a flaw in the way the system handled downloads to request data without going through it.

You are proposing someone compromise a payment gateway, which is a much much more serious offence.

That's what freeshop did and they fixed the security flaws on the server. You can't just magic your way through, there needs to be a flaw to exploit and at least so far none have been discovered.

Also, I don't know how much editing was done, but if you start dropping links your github with games, you're going to have a bad time.

theres no way to Spoof the server side response it expects when a purchase goes thru. spoofing the response or Bypassing the payment gateway is still by far more messing with the payment gateway and a far more serious offense than what we were doing exploiting the flaw that allowed us to download with a fake ticket its Far from what it actually did but with the fake ticket eShop saw "Ohh you allready have it on the system but need to reinstall? OK! here you go" because its pretty much how it handled Pre-installed titles (some special 3DS' had games pre installed like the Special Pokemon 20th anniversary N3DS had the Red and Blue Gen 1 VC's pre-installed)


based on some of your posts and replies who legit try to warn you how you take a lackluster care about piracy, you seem to take a kids way of thinking "Ohh i'll hide behind a fake name, a cheap VPN" when the Big N wants to find out who the F* you are they WILL find you. there is no 100% total anonymity on the internet. the chances of something small time them perusing you hard enough might be small, but you never know, there's been many other bigger people in other console scenes arrested and jailed for just compromising the system and not tied Piracy, Some they barely escaped jail time only to agree Never touching that system again. (IE. Geohot v Sony, and he's the leading reason Why OtherOS was removed from the PS3 FW, as thier excuses were weak)

If another means for something like a new age CDN Downloader shows up it likely wont last long, Nintendo is showing us "Enough's Enough we're finally pissed." yea its bad in terms of game preservation, and bad for "Lazy pirates" but good that they're finally stepping up thier Security. the 3DS has been bit of a miserable Joke for awhile in that aspect. and if they way they're pushing the Switch's security further, Maybe they might not be able to undue B9S but seriously hamper it.

nope they goto SYSNAND. (otherwise part of the Emunand Issues with em wouldnt be a problem), you haveto Install em to Emunand & Sysnand in an Emunand environment for em to work and to not loose your saves.
