How do I use Free Mcboot? I have minnepenn with name Maxdriver, it's to Ps2?

We can't see what you ordered as you haven't posted the image.

There's different methods to launch backups on the PS2 such as DVD based (can't recall the name), Internal HDD based (using a HDD/broadband adapter), USB HDD and Network.

I've only ever used an internal HDD with either HD Loader or OPL (the latter being the newer method).

Since you're getting a pre-installed card, I'd suggest getting it first in case it has some messed up setup and look into the above methods to decide which method you want to use.

Mcboot is just a sort of homebrew launcher which runs from a ps2 memory card. As soon as you turn the ps2 on with the card inserted it will highjack the boot process and launch automatically. I'm also assuming you ordered one of these modified cards.

Oh, as far as running backups, there are apps that launch games from usb, kinda hit and miss, and ones that launch disc copies. If your card is setup right you should have these already.

One more edit, there are tutorials here for setting this stuff up. I recommend you check em out.

I don't want to tell you try too much since you ordered the card from someone else and have no way to create another one on your own.

I have heard that some people have gotten past this issue by making sure there is no disc in the drive while booting. Another thing to try would be to boot the ps2 without the card, put the card in, then reset it. Hopefully someone here would have more advice.

I'm sure someone here would be willing to reinstall mcboot on your card if you sent it to them. I would suggest making a thread asking for help. If you do send your card to be redone, make sure it's a member with good reputation.

That's the best I've got, sorry.
