it's still a viable entry point to be using on the current firmware. besides if you update to "the next update" you shouldn't expect it to keep working. :P
Well, the cartridge version will probably be impossible to patch on future versions, and seeing how CN survived so many updates I don't see why this wouldn't be working in the future :p

so with freakyhax you can enter homebrew and do anything homebrew on v11.x but not downgrade - this is a temporary situation?

with freakyhax you can downgrade on anything <11.x?
Currently, the only way to downgrade from 11.0 is by doing a hardmod. It is unknown if a software downgrade
will become available in the future.

If you are under 11.0, you can downgrade using any homebrew entry point. Freakyhax should also work, but i've heard that freakyhax is limited to
10.7 and 11.0. :)

yes of course they would block it in future updates. but most people would not update once they got homebrew access.

nice little way to get back to homebrew if some freak accident update happens. now I understand this wont let you downgrade from 11.x but still let you have minimal homebrew access, from there does 11.x limit anything more than a few exploits and CFW or does it also stop some homebrew as well?

I'm pretty tired of triying to boot homebrewlauncher, it worked at second try, but it didn't worked again since then to the +30 tries.
