No, they can't. I won't explain it in details like I did in another thread, but it would be against their TOS, so illegal.

Gamestop still has the game for $5. It comes out to about $10 with shipping. The amazon version shot up to $30 while I was eating lunch fml. Curse dynamic pricing.

Luckily, this game uses a flat and unrealistic artstyle, so creating a flat, less detailed version of his avatar that stays true to the game should not be too hard!

No. This allows for userland homebrew execution. For downgrading, we used to need a ARM11 kernel exploit (Which was partially patched) but now, since 11.0, we also will need an ARM9 kernel exploit or some very clever way of dealing with the downgrade checks.

TL;DR: No downgrades for a long time, actually. This will be 9.2 all over again. Except you can still rush and do a hardmod downgrade.
