PS1/2 Found an unmodded NTSC-U PS1 unused for years since 1999.

Hey Laris Borromeo - err GalacticWarsHalloween here again, and this time when I was at a friends's house, I found a PS1 that's un-modded, that my burned backups won't run. The model is SCPH-9001. Will this model still be hackble with a modchip?
I will post pictures of it when I get home btw.

Sure, all models can be chipped - you may not be able to region unlock some* with just a regular chip but even for those you can region patch your games or use a swap disc without the need to hold down the cover switch

* slims (scph-???), and Japanese (scph-???0) models - not your case
