Hacking Forwarders are back!

Is anyone having this issue with the WiiMC forwarder for the vWii, or is it just the wad I installed? I tested it again with an unhidden HDD with no difference. If there are those who are not having this problem, I'd be very happy to try installing the version of the forwarder channel being used by those folks.




OriginalHamster, thanks for giving it a try. Have you had a chance to give it a spin yet, and if so, how's it working? I'm using it almost daily and definitely every weekend with no issues other than the seemingly unrelated issue with the forwarder channel.

I have a brief update in regards to the WiiMC forwarder. I have updated my WiiU to version 5.0, and the USB 2.0 HDD loading issue is no longer present. In other words, WiiMC recognizes that a hard drive is connected to USB port 1 the first time the app is loaded via the forwarder channel. I am uncertain what was changed in the USB initialization protocol, but it seems to have eradicated the problem without any effort on my part. Often the best solutions are the laziest .

Is there a new forwarder for Wii64?? Im using the Not64 latest version of the emu and the one in the post is not compatible with it, and also one for Gen plus gx will be apretiate too dunno why the one in this post dosen't work to me.

A new loader shouldnt be necessary seeing as how loaders are merely shortcuts to apps. What directory is Not64 in? It should be in SD :\apps\wii64\boot.dol for the forwarder to work. What happens when you use it? Does it just go black and return to the system menu?

I apologize... some how I ended in the Wii U discussions... I was looking forwaders for Wii, but thanks for the interest, I already solve my issue

Hi Guys I've just bought a Wii U & have modded it with all I need but I'm having a few probs with your forwarder for N64.
It loads up fine but when I exit it sits on the black screen. I've tested it in the 16.9 Homebrew channel and it exits fine so it's defiantly the forwarder.

Someone had the same problem on here a while back but didn't get a fix. Has anyone found one yet?

Oh right it is
But I can't tell you if it works on mine or not because I don't have a spare sd card as I gave the one to my brother

The first post from FIX contains intructions on how to convert a Wii forwarder into a vWii, maybe the guy who make the convertion did something wrong in the process.

Any chance I can get some of these links mirrored? In particular the GBA emulator one.
I agree, I like the idea of the forwarders having pictures of the consoles they play. Seems more intuitive that way.

I just have the two remote +... MMO doesn't work....

Use WiiMOD lite (for vWii) for wad installing, it's compatible with all Wiimotes even newer versions
