Hey everyone,

Attempted recently to change from CBHC to Tiramisu, and found I had some system errors preventing me from doing so. Ultimately, I was able to get it installed and corrected the system/memory errors and the WiiU itself appears fine now. What I did (stupidly) in haste, prior to getting things back in order, was to format the WiiU. The hard drive was not plugged into the WIiU when that occurred. Now that things are back in order, the WiiU doesn't seem to see the files on the hard drive. I'm not asked to format it when it's plugged in though, so thinking it still recognizes it to some extent, but something's not matching up. Hoping there's something I might be able to do or modify to get it showing the contents of the drive again. Looked around the forum, didn't really see this exact question. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

You can access the hard drive if you have the otp and seeprom with wfs extract, dumpster u, or dumpling. You can get your saves off. As for games, you can access them, but the content must be indexed on the system, so there's no way to get around installing.

Edit, remember not to initialize the disk on the pc or you won't be able to access anything.

Thanks everyone. Haven't been around in a while, but I've since fixed things. Actually grabbed the saves off using a few different methods. For each, i did have to hex edit the seeprom, but was able to eventually see, save and restore everything, so things are working perfectly now again. Thanks!

I'm not sure which byte it is, but one of them goes up by one every time the wiiu is formatted. you might be able to get the exact byte on wiiubrew.
