Gaming Formatted Wii - New greeted with black screen?

Hello!

After trying to format my Wii (as my intention was to sell it) i am greeted by a black screen like the picture below:

I tired clicking on every menu, but none of the options ever did anything.
I tried "hacking/modding" the Wii in hopes of getting past the issue, as i found out that there is no way of getting a original "system CD" as with a Windows computer.

although, i am not sure i followed it correctly. I have bought an "SD Elite Pro 2GB" card, and confirmed it works with my Wii (if the card is needed).

So what i need help with - is to get the Wii system working again, so that i can sell the Wii. Its got all the extra stuff and a bunch of games, so i am sure its at least worth something with that bundled.

I am really, really grateful for any help given - so any future responses are much appreciated!

What Wii Remote are you using? It should've worked, but some Wiibre don't like Wii Remote Plus or third-party controller and refuse to connect to them.

Huh, seems like you're in quite a predicament, does the cursor move on the screen when you go to use the Wiimote?
If not you'll need either an old wiimote or a gamecube controller. You should at least be able to load up homebrew apps with the install/load file option.
From there it may be possible to reinstall the system menu or at least get it to load the system menu.
What exactly happens if you choose system menu from there?
From the looks of it- it's running System Menu 3.2E.

The first thing you should do is get your SD card and make a new folder called "apps"
Then download and run this with that install/load file option.

Syscheck Hacksden Edition

It might ask to save a file on the SDCard- if it does, then choose yes.
Once it's done, power off the wii, and post the outputted file here, should be syscheck.csv or txt or something like that.

Thanks for the responses back!
I tried creating a folder named "apps" on my SD card, and extracted the contents (with and without the folder included) onto the SD card, but it still said "no bootable file".
I tried to format the SD card to "FAT" and "FAT32", and i get the message "NO SD CARD FOUND".

Here is the card i bought:
Its a non "SDHC", and with 2GB - pretty much bought with those abilities exactly for this. It worked before, but after formatting it the Wii cant read it!

- I can also confirm that it is NOT a controller issue. I cant access any of the menus, as it says there is nothing to read (in those menus).

I was going to work on it with a friend tomorrow, so if i get a response by then i would be trilled! Thanks for the help guys!

You need to install that exact version of Priiloader on an SD card, place it in the system, and THEN proceed to click on desired menu. After that, take the necessary steps to uninstall Priiloader.
