Hardware Format Wii System Memory

Hi, I'm giving my Wii to a niece for xmas, I want to erase all my data so its like new.

If I do this will I lose all my WADs etc?

Will my backups continue to play without having to do a system update?

Wasabi DX on 4.3.

Just delete any channel and savegame you dont want her to have.
If you want to remove a softmod do a onlineupdate.
Only Darkcrap should be uninstalled by its uninstaller instead

Do not format the wii unless you want to brick it.
Its nice the way it is just download fresh ios with NUS and install latest.
Make sure bootmii(make a backup that you will keep) and priiloader(w/block disc update hack) are installed
no one can tell you have ever hacked it...
