OP
I've read about the horrible crimes that have been happening in Espírito Santo and I hope that everyone who can, avoids the streets or stepping outside as it's pretty much a warzone over there. If there's a page which people can donate to help those in ES then I'd like to know about it.

Brazil's track record has been a disgrace but what's going on in Espírito Santo takes a whole new level of shock even for those already used to it. *sigh* Brazil in its whole needs to have a new govt system that actually caters to helping its people and keeping its country safe while locking up the criminals (or even death penalty).

@Sliter I hope you stay safe.

I won't post any videos or images here because if anyone wants that, they are on YouTube and all over the web.

What the Military Police is doing in Espirito Santo is a crime and they are liable to being prosecuted and jailed. More than 100 lives have been taken since the Police stopped working and this blood is on their hands. They SHOULD be punished.

man, thanks for the care! For me and for what are happening here.
Where I live is far from Espírito Santo, so I'm safer here, at least for now and it don't really affect me more than on the news :c
But wtf is going on?
Police stopping made more criminals appears there or do people where real too ruled by them and no security made they fell free ?
I'm really jealous of countries that you can go out without fear to be robbed... this must be the base for every country, but a few people having a lot of money seems more interesting, right? =3=

How could the police just watch this crimes happening and do nothing, they are supposed to protect people and now they are just watching people dying and being robbed, it's sad.
Do they have enough ammo, bullet proof vests, shields and so on to protect themselves and the civilians against the criminals? I don't know but if they do then they should be fighting back.

I can sympathise with the police, a certain civil service sector that I work for went on strike for similar problems a few months ago here in England. However, what is happening to the people in ES is terrible and I can't justify the police actions, I hope everyone stays as safe as possible.

Too much danger in Brazil for my taste :)
I prefer ''peaceful'' lands. But then again, shit can find you wherever you go :/

It's like anywhere else.
Some parts are better than others.
Saying the entirety of Brazil is dangerous is like saying the entirety of Japan is safe.

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.

He couldn't eat until after his MRI, when he had a bomb pop.
