Does anyone else who is cursed with short sightedness and wears glasses find the 3D effect doesn't really work well with your glasses on?

I find myself having to take them off just to play the 3DS with the 3D effect on. Even with the slider cranked up to 11... nothing :/

Must suck if you have to wear contacts :/

I'm short sighted and can see the 3D fine with my glasses on.

However I normally take them off when playing any handheld console anyway.

im short sighted not terribly bad though, -2.75. I can easily adjust to 3d effect, but trying to adjust after, that's my problem. Im probably going to play with 3d off to avoid any possible eye damage.

I'm short sighted and I use contacts (and glasses in the evening).

Without any glasses, I'd have to be so close to the console that the 3D effect won't work (when I'm lying in bed and playing, it's too close for 3D to work, with or without glasses or contacts).

It doesn't make a difference if I use contacts or glasses, though.

yea, happened to me last night when I got it, noticed it was easier to use without my glasses on. but with my contacts on during the day, it's prefect.

The 3D isn't going to cause anymore "damage" than looking at a laptop monitor almost all day. imo [IMG]

    Short-sighted.

I typically wear contacts, but I've got a nasty case of GPC, so I've been wearing my glasses for the past week or so.

I haven't had any issues playing with my glasses on, but 3D performance is a little more tolerable without glasses. It's worth mentioning though, most things close up are slightly better off without my glasses. Regular DS use, if I'm using my iPod touch.. it's not a world of difference, but if I'm in bed playing a game I usually just take my glasses off.

So yeah. I don't have a super strong prescription, but gameplay with glasses is fine with me so far.

Although typing this I DO feel a bit cross-eyed :l
