Erm, no. They're in former staff because they are either no longer active or don't have the time to moderate anymore. They still have access to the staff forum... Think of the group as a place where former staff go to virtually retire.

Most of the current staff here have been staff on the forum for ages... We've simply continued running GBAtemp.

On the subject of the current design, it's kinda ugly yes. I'd like the old gray/white one back, that one was really nice on the eyes and looked clean too.

I'd think the Invision-software would support multiple themes, so could we have it back as an option? Please?

IIRC, they took the rom links off because other rom sites were being shut down pretty rapidly. KiVan and the other mods at the time decided that the GBATemp forum was too awesome to be shut down so they took the rom links off, allowing the forum to stay alive. If it wasn't for that, I would not be posting here right now.

) this is one of the few forums from those days that still exist.
