IIRC
They were hosting temp servers so they could host the 10 newest roms without getting introuble?Then rinse and repeat.

Even though I ain't a veteran by join date, I used to go on GBAtemp for about a year before I actually joined so it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, I prefer it to this new look.

I like the Lite skin the best.

I wish it would be "upgraded" with all the new features and tool bar.

v3 and Lite...both look good. The first skin? Not so good.

Yeah, that's old school. I do like the new layout though, and it's cool to see how much the site has grown. Been here for a while although I'm not exactly the most frequent poster.

He still visits from time to time but rarely posts. To be frank I think his interest in handhelds isn't enough to maintain a site like this anymore unfortunately. We still speak to him regularly, he's enjoying his life in sunny Italy with his beautiful wife and family(?)

He actually just a few months ago picked up a DS and we sent him an R4

(on the house of course - the house he built)

Ah yes, It's the first try of Kivan if I remember well

I'm from the very beginning, when Kivan was a member on another website were there were roms, but difficulties to keep updated, then KiVan proposed himself to make a new one (and I followed him).


I'm near Italy (4km to the border), there is sun all year as well
