I just flashed an old DS that came with the Nintendogs pack, and I can choose from 4 different brightness levels

Thanks FAST6191, you made it crystal. Well thats a bummer for me since I am a v1.

With the version 5 and above, where does it let you change the brightness setting at?

I'm 100% sure it was V4 pink DS, I also flashed a normal fat DS V4 and that didnt have the 4 light settings.
So I think its only with the newer V4 or something. And if you got V4 I would definiately flash it again with V7 just to try

2 questions

1)Is the version of flashme here at gbatemp's guide of installing flashme the one that lets you change the brightness on v5 phat ds's?

2)And second is the flashme_stealth.nds capable of doing this (change the brightness) or it is only for the standard flashme.nds?Anyone know?

Thanks for any replies.

I thought at first this was a big joke being able to control the brightness with the phat DS. Got my girlfriend a the pink DS, it was the last one in the shop so I got it for £70 brand new. I installed the flashme v7 and thought I'd try it. It changes the brightness level, don't think it goes as bright as the DS lite does. It originally have v5 firmware. With the brightness set to max on the ds does anyone know how long the battery lasts? I am using the original supercard in it.
