    Who was the absolute first one to make the flashcard?
    Who invented the whole thing, and worked it out the first?
    (For the DS).

    Was it the original R4 or something?

    At least not the R4 team, the first 'flashcarts' were actually passcards if I believe. I think the passme was first, but its just a quick guess. I don't know anything about passcards [​IMG]

    I seem to recall SuperCard having a passcard pretty early that would let NDS ROMs boot off their GBA carts. I think I remember a lot of issues with it though--but my memory's foggy, and probably ill-drawn.

    I think he's referring to game copier/flash carts and not generic flash carts. On that note flash carts have been around since the 80's I believe.
